Movement

Movement

Constant movement may it be in our physical or metaphysical selfs. We are constantly surging and flowing with the space. We are flowing within in, when we connect with others, when we create, when we talk, dance, move etc. We are constantly moving, changing, flowing, dying, rebirth. A constant pulsation of the universe lies within in us and around us. It connects us to all things inward and outward.

We should listen to our souls, listen to the movement... the dance that it wants to express! We should not hide in dark corners of our soul scared to make 'mistake' or scared to choose the wrong path. As we may find that every step, every movement is part of the process. It is part of the sacred journey. Even if you stumble, even if you are injured it is woven into your dance, into your process, its your never-ending journey of life and spirt.

It is often on this movement, this journey that we find our selfs looking for something.. looking for the ultimate happiness, looking for love, looking for something that will make us feel 'accomplished, acknowledged, recognised' But what we need to ultimately find/know is that we can do all of this from within. We can acknowledge, recognise, congratulate, find happiness and love from within.

As within us lies the archetype old women with her deep roots connected into the ground. Within us lies the child-like spirt that is dancing over the rainbows. Within us lies the present wild women. It is with all of these wild women who are YOU that are the joy, love and happiness.

Let them howl, let them love, let them create.

Art for the Soul.

HERE AND NOW

Magnitude by Art Collective A-in-Wonderland

As I entered down the steps of the ex-bunker I was given a torch and instructions to go exploring. As I walked through the smell of wheat hit my nose, a drip drip drip drip filled my ears and the cold brought goosebumps running up my arm. As I walked around with my dimly lit touch I came across hanging chunks of ice that was slowly melting onto the 'wheat fields'. On closer examination, shards of bricks, mud and moss and animals where starting to show as the ice melted.

What inspired me about the artwork is one artists from the art collective, Paula Biemans.

I spoke to her about .Experience art. Audience engagement..Artwork existing in the now.Making art for and from the soul

Creating an experience for the audiance (smell, touch, sight, sound) how that can invite the audience to have a deeper connection with the artwork. It is through this connection that we can create a dialogue about the artworks and the issues it raises.

As people come and go the experience of the artwork changes. Shadows run up and down the walls, the crunching of the wheat is more apparent. One can see more of the objects suspended in the air.

It is only exists NOW. This artwork constantly changes. It is never still. Every time you re-look something is different. Something has changed. It echoes the dialogue about temporal time. How installation/experiential art is always changing/evolving/moving. It is never still.

Make art from and for the soul. Most importantly... do not create for others or what people expect you to make. Then you are not making for you, you will not enjoy the process if you are in the mind space to 'please-others' You are not showing your depiction of the world, how you see, feel.

Give others a chance to see how you see the world. How you creatively put things together to create your 'reality'...It is through speaking your sacred truth that you can connect with others and their sacred truths.

The Only Time is Now

if you got it today you don't want it tomorrow, man, cause you don't need it, cause as a matter of fact, as we discovered in the train, tomorrow never happens, it's all the same day, man.
